This little gem does exactly what it says; it nails almost any size nail in hard-to-reach places-- and it does so quickly and accurately. Once you get the hang of placing the nail on the magnet side, you can literally drive a nail every 5 seconds.I'm not sure what the dude who said "wear ear protection because this thing is loud." was (or is) smoking, but this nailer sounds about as loud as a baby blowing raspberries (as in Bronx Cheers).I give it a 4 because the instructions are for crap. The leather glove that comes with this kit took almost 30 minutes to figure out how to attach. and I can do a Rubik's cube in 3 minutes.Otherwise, damn fine tool.
Works great and fast. I have used one before. Thats the reason I ordered myself one. Just may sure you drop some oil in the air inlet before storing in case there was any water vapor in your air line.( the same with any air tool except paint guns ) Never any problems. Good price and fast shipping.
The owners manual is also lacking in information to trouble shoot this problem. I took a chance and bought this product, mainly because it got some good reviews. I feel that the money I paid for this item was wasted. My review however is not going to be very kind. This nailer works when it wants to, and it is disappointing and frustrating to wait for this nailer to start driving the nail. And I do not recommend this product. Richard,
Got this tool because I didn't want to buy a high priced nail gun. It beats hammering nails and its a little faster. That said, its still pretty slow compared to a nail gun, not as neat, very loud and is very hard to use to drive a screw type nail like you might use on decking. I'm going to keep it because it will drive a nail in a very confined space and when that is needed, it pays it storage charge.
The nailer worked great and the case with the extra parts makes to really nice. I couldn't get the palm nailer away from him and within a couple hours ALL the strapping was attached.
I was in the process of building a two story barn and thought it might be handy. I ordered the palm nailer as an after thought at the same time I got my compressor.
In short order I hear the sounds of a crazed woodpecker going to town followed by giggling and laughing. When it came time to put on the metal strapping I brought it out.
One of the guys helping on the barn had never used one before and hated putting on hurricane clips due to smashed fingers and broken knuckles. He put it on his Christmas list.
I would recommend this it was a great value.
